Nadia von Maltzahn is participating in the forthcoming international conference “(Un)mapping Infrastructures of Modern Art” on the infrastructures of supporting travels and exhibiting modernism transnationally (1940s-1990s), organised by Prof. Dr. Bärbel Küster (University of Zurich) and Prof. Dr. Marta Smolińska (Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts, Poznań).
She is presenting a paper on the role of bilateral friendship associations in artistic infrastructures, focusing on the landmark exhibition “Lebanon, the Artist’s View” held in London and Paris in 1989.
