Fellowship at Global Dis:Connect

LAWHA’s Principal Investigator Nadia von Maltzahn has started a six-months fellowship at the Käte Hamburger Kolleg global dis:connect (gd:c) in Munich, taking place from 15 October 2024 to 15 April 2025.
The global dis:connect research centre examines the dynamic, co-constitutive relationship of global integration, absent connections and disintegration in current and historical processes of globalisation.
At gd:c, Nadia is starting to prepare a book manuscript on LAWHA’s main research questions. Since the project relates context and artistic production at home and abroad, the question of connections and ruptures between these poles is an integral part of the analysis. By studying the nuances of artists’ migratory trajectories, networks and creation, she is analysing rather than presuming links and connections, paying close attention to the experiences of artists.
